He was predeceased by: his brother Lewis Thorne Brawley. He is survived by: his husband Jay Daly; his mother-in-law Bronwyn Young; his parents, Jessie Smith (Garrett) and R. Vance Brawley, Jr. (Hessie); his siblings, Hunter and Jessie McKellar (Clinton); his niece Marian McKellar; his nephew Lucas McKellar; and his son Oglethorpe Hill. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A reception will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the H. M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel (4550 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30319).
