She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses T. Akins and Mildred Akins (Elrod); her siblings' children, Sheila Cartledge, Teresa Cartledge and Claude T. Cartledge; her siblings, L. W. Dub Akins, Johnnie Louise Cartledge (Akins), Mary Jo Akins, Edith Akins and Betty Bennett (Akins); and her siblings-in-law, Claude W. Cartledge, Benny Bennett and Thelma Akins.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Bessie Akins.
