Woods of Chatsworth, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Alden Woods of Dalton and Linnie May Taylor Woods of Dalton; his brother Laroy "Pete" Woods of Cohutta; and his sister-in-law Linda Cook Woods of Cohutta. He is survived by : his wife Ruth Peeples Woods of Chatsworth; his son Alan L. Woods; his daughter-in-law Mendy Cook Woods of Dalton; his son Brian T. Woods; his daughter-in-law Holly Headrick Woods of Chatsworth; his grandchildren, Emma Kate Woods, Alden Cook Woods, Elizabeth "Izzie" Ruth Woods of Dalton, Lauren Berkley and Aniston Landry Woods of Chatsworth; his sisters, Carol Hardin of Dalton and Anna Young of Rossville; and his siblings-in-law, Carlton Peeples, Betty Peeples of Blairsville, Tom, Cindy Peeples of Chatsworth and Luther "Luke" Colbert of Hixson, TN.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
