He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Wasserman; and his stepdaughters, Dana, Judy and Gina. He is survived by: his children, Sharon, Telina Wasserman and Fillan Ferguson-Rivers; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Dillon Bailey, Noa Shelton, Jayden Scott, Gary and Rick Bell. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
