She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Sanford; her son Jerry Sanford, Jr.; her son-in-law Glenn Nichols; and her sister Annette Ballew. She is survived by: her daughter Samantha; her son-in-law Fred Gregg; her grandchildren, Katlyn Palmer (Brennan), Caroline Howard (Beau), Tucker Gregg (Sam) and Katy Sane (Jeremy); her sisters-in-law, Pat Smith and Johanna Brown (Winston); her siblings, Richard Saunders, Sherry Parson, Diane Stuman, Jimmy Smith and Kim Thesis; her friends, Cindy Mooney and Vikki Pickett; and her niece Mariana Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
