She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Manis and Elise Franklin Manis; her siblings, Clarence Manis, Lloyd Manis, Fate Manis, Arnold Manis, Boyd Manis, Lavada Tankersly, Elizabeth Cantrell, Ruby Cantrell and Eloise Patterson; her son Gary Thomason; and her niece Sheila Tankersley.
She is survived by: her significant other Mitchell Bartley of Chatsworth; her sons, Randall (Liana Thomason), Michael Thompson of Chatsworth and Kenny (Gwen Hughes); her sister Betty Patterson of Chatsworth; her grandchildren, Amber Hamrick and Samatha Silvers; and her nieces, Erica Headrick and Lisa Ridley. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
