He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Burger and Louise Haynes Burger; and his siblings, Barbara Martin, Audrie Graves, Alice Goodwin, Virginia Hodges, Jackie Burger, Russell, Daniel and Tony Burger.

He is survived by: his daughter Neva King; his grandson Isaiah King; his sister Donna Weaver; and his sibling's children, Mandy Weaver (Smart Alleck), Eddie, Hunter Goodwin, Christoper Elliott, Brayden Payne, Jim Ed Wood and Cody Goss. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
