We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025, at the age of 82, Gerald Thomas Johnson of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Johnson and Linda Johnson; his parents-in-law, Maria and Ludwik Mazurek; and his grandson Kenneth Michael Dixon "Peep".
He is survived by: his wife Christa Johnson; his children, Michael (Dana Johnson), Mark "Russ" (Brandy Johnson) and Beth Johnson; his brother Wayne; his sister-in-law Marie Johnson; his grandchildren, Abigail, Emma Johnson, Brandon Smith, Kaden Johnson and Luke Johnson; and his great grandchild Kolsen Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
