We announce the death of Hilda Sue Wells of Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on October 17, 2026. Hilda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mallett and Polly Mallett (Jones). She is survived by: her husband Leslie "Sonny" Wells; her children, Jesse Charlane Bryson (Shanda), Cheston Bryson (Melissa), Tandalea Stephenson (Dusty) and Pamela O'Bryant (Josh); her grandchildren, Patrick Collins (Jenna), D. J. Stephenson, Laci Bryson, Brilee Bryson, Kara O'Bryant, Jenna O'Bryant, Emily Bryson, Allie Bryson and Sawyer Bryson; her sister Belinda Crumbley (Thomas); and her great-aunt Mary Ruth Maddron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
