He was predeceased by : his parents, James Earl and Willie Mae Sluder; his parents-in-law, Bud and Ethel Ash; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Ash and Jane King.
He is survived by : his wife Melba Ash Sluder of Chatsworth; his daughters, Sonya (Tommy Standridge) of Benton, TN and Amanda (Buddy Green) of Chatsworth; his grandchildren, Madelynn Stanley (Ryan Murray) of Fairmont, Dillon Stanley, Devin Stanley, Bryson Green of Chatsworth and Levi Standridge of Benton, TN; his brother Rickey Sluder of Breman, GA; his aunt Deloris Smith of Dalton; and his niece Sandie Howard of Dalton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers, and sisters-in-laws.
