With sadness, we share the passing of Jerome Champion of Chatsworth, Georgia. Jerome, born on April 24, 1952, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Champion and Jean Champion; his siblings, Jeffrey Champion, Judy Cossette and Jealanie Davis; his granddaughter Brittany Sandifer; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua and Legend.
He is survived by: his wife Gaynelle Champion; his children, Tracy Jones (Michael) and Terry Champion (Valerie); his grandchildren, Kristen Champion, Lauren Bartley (Jonathan), Takota Jones and Mikey Jones; and his great grandchild Evelyn Bartley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Shawn Chapman Funeral Home (2362 US-76, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
