He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Jones and Vera Billie Lyles; his sisters, Shirley Jones and Peggy Case; his grandparents, McClain Martin and Annie Martin; and his aunts, Emodean Sturgill and Hazel Martin Luck.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Jones of Chatsworth; his children, McClain (Lacy Jones), Jonathan (Brandi Jones), Shirley (Sampson Bell) and Lisa (Brandon Bray); his grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Jordan Muehleisen, Hunter, Austin, Justin, Jacob, Kali and Macy; his great grandchildren, Carson, Octavia, Addi, Bo and Greyson; his cousins, Brenda Luck and Diane Luck; his aunt Sue Gable; his friends, George Young, Ruth Payne, Kathy Jaco, Janice Young, Richard Young, Lavonda Goforth, Josh Matthews, Avery Cress and Lisa Bryant; Odin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peeples Funeral Home (208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
