He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willene and Emmett Williams; his mother Violet Poteet; his grandson Rylee Lynthlin; and his brother Justin Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Williams of Chatsworth; his son Chad; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Williams of Chatsworth; his daughters, Tiffany (John Jones) and Heather (Joshua Lynthlin); his father Charles Cody; his stepmother Mary Cody of Dalton, GA; his brother Chuck; his sister-in-law Jennifer Williams of Rossville, GA; his grandchildren, Noah Bartley, Caleb Williams, Kane Williams, Nikoli Cervantes, Lillian Jones, Iris Jones, Trinity Allen, Sydney Rhinehardt and Raelyn Lynthlin; his niece Brooke Williams; and his nephew Chase Williams.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory (208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home (208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 30705).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
