He is survived by: his wife Janice B. Steelman; his brother Randy Steelman (Leona); his sister-in-law Darcell Steelman; his children, Stephanie Bates (Brad), Jessica Jensen (John) and Jacob Middleton (Lesleigh); his grandchildren, Braxton Bates, Maggie Bates, Riley Hopkins, Matt Hopkins, Braleigh Middleton, Emmie Middleton and Eliza Jensen; his great grandchild Everett Bates; and his close friend Sonny Hopkins. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
