He is survived by: his wife Dot Swinney; his sons, Daneil (Ambra Swinney), Aaron (Dorcas Swinney) and Stephen Swinney; his brothers, Harold Swinney and Glen Swinney; and his grandchildren, Andrew Swinney (Stacie), Christopher Swinney, Josh Swinney, Memorie Searcy (Tyler), Mallory Kominczak (Noah), Ariana Smith (T. J.), Lilly Swinney, Eli Swinney, Hadley Swinney, Christopher Carter and Dakota Carter. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
