It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Richard Newman of Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loranzey Newman and Bessie "Bell" Newman Queen; his wife Hazel Beatrice "Pack" Newman; and his siblings, Solen Newman, Irvin Newman, Abe Newman, John Newman, Owen Newman, Verlin Newman, Irene Gilliam, Dorothy Ivey, Thelma Hampton and Ruby Smith.
He is survived by: his son James; his daughter-in-law Cindy Bingham; his daughter Rita; his son-in-law Gary L. Johnson; his brother Albert; his sister-in-law Leta Newman; and his grandchildren, Tabitha Johnson, Christopher, Lacey Johnson, Minner Johnson, Tara and Cole Ledford. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
