He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. Bruce and Blanche Bruce; and his great grandchild Jackson Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bruce of Dawnville, GA; his son Dale; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Bruce of Dawnville, GA; his sisters, Linda Brogdon of Dawnville, GA and Phyllis Bruce of Dawnville, GA; his grandchildren, Haley Blake, Brandon Pierce, Hunter Bruce, Kinze Ponders, Cali Bearden, Victoria Bearden and River Bearden; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Blake, Kyndall Gibson and Scarlett Bruce. He is also survived by fur baby, Missy Bear Bruce; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory (208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
