Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Maddox; and his parents, William Maddox and Alberta Maddox. He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce Ross of Chatsworth, Betty Hensley of Calhoun, Kathy Owens of Chatsworth, Fain Maddox of Chatsworth, Suzie Taylor of Dalton and Terri Maddox of Rome; and his children, Christy Seals, Chastity Durham, Michael Maddox and Daniel Maddox.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Shawn Chapman Funeral Home (2362 US-76, Chatsworth, GA 30705).
