He was predeceased by: his parents, Huger Waters and Wilda Watson Waters; his daughter Desiree Lynn Waters; and his siblings, Sharon Moore, Kathy Burchfield, Clinton Waters, Roger Waters, Leamon Waters and Pete Waters.
He is survived by: his wife Ronetta Tolbert Waters; his daughter Ashley Campbell; his son-in-law Mario Castillo of Dalton, GA; his grandchildren, Mae Waters, Abigail Campbell, Nevaeh Jackson, Jemarii Jackson, Jordan Castillo and Justice Castillo; and his siblings, Carol Cothran and Bruce Waters (Mattie) of Dalton, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ponders Melrose Chapel (138 Melrose Dr, Dalton, GA 30721). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location.
