It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia Holmes of Chatsworth, Georgia, born in Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Lamar Holmes; her son Eric Holmes; her grandson Steven Holmes; her great grandchild Karissa Kriner; her daughter Sandra Jeanette Goswick; her parents, Alvin Beecher Belcher and Anna Faye Freeman; her stepfather Bill DeFriece; and her sisters, Anna Raye Tudor and Vickey Ellen Kenner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Holmes and Carolyn Thompson; her daughter-in-law Amy Holmes; her grandchildren, Ashley Brewer, Austin Nichols, Kevin, Chelsey Hughes, LeAnn Saylor, Kayla Canessa, Justin, Kateland Saylor and Madison Holmes; her great grandchildren, David James Stanley, Lillian Nichols, Skyleighn Kriner, Cheston Edgerton, Olivia Rose Dixson, James Allan Dixson, Aella Hughes, Jackson Saylor and Karson Saylor; and her siblings, William B. Belcher, Harvey D Belcher of Phoenix, AZ, Terry Lynn Belcher, Alma Ruth Hinkle of Corbin, KY and Rillia Jeanetta Chavez of Calhoun, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
