He is survived by: his son Matthew Sean; his daughter-in-law Athena Southern of Chatsworth, GA; his daughters, Martha Ellen Williams of Cleveland, TN and Billie Southern of Jasper, GA; his brother Jamie Slaton of Dalton, GA; and his granddaughter Alyssa Day (Austin).
