Kathy Hosford Rogers Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathy Hosford Rogers of Chester, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2026 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Kathy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kathy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oliver, Sr. and Kemper Holt Hosford; and her husband James M. "Buck" Rogers. She is survived by: her son Collin Taylor Wimberly of Chester; her granddaughter Addie Wimberly; and her brothers, James O. "Buddy" Hosford (Emily) of Chester and Phillip Hosford (Brenda) of Chester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
