She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Stansell and Dorothy "Dot" Stansell; and her sister Nancy Lee. She is survived by: her husband Lynn Melton; her children, Joe Melton (Angelique) of Lookout Mtn. GA and Andy Melton (Jill) of Teloga, GA; her grandchildren, Josie, Lakin and Rayne Melton; and her sister Kathy Ledford.
