She was predeceased by: her father Edward Hariam; her husband Bobby W. Young; and her siblings, Peggy Dickard, Estelle Fabriguezze, Ernestine Pope, Eva Robinson, Nellie Welch, Jo Melhorn, Charles Hollis and Bud Hollis.
She is survived by: her children, Hurshell Cox of Houston, TX, Windell Hollis of Gilmer, TX, William "Bill" White (Shelly) of Gilmer, TX, Jason Foster of Austin, TX, Paul Donnahoe (Laura) of Chickamauga, GA and Michael "Todd" Young (Tiana) of Houston, TX; and her siblings, Mary Dean of Karnack, TX, Jimmie Lou Lemming of Waskom, TX, Patsy Laird of Marshall, TX and Chester Hollis of Marshall, TX. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to East Ridge United Pentecostal Church.
