He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Milton "Pud" O'Neal; his siblings, Betty Lou Barnett, Glenda Faye Eaves and Raymond Edward O'Neal; his grandson Jonathon Lance Henson; and his great great grandchild Brantley Kendrick.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Alice Plemons O'Neal; his children, Karen Ellison (Terry) of Chickamauga, GA, Tina Henson (Ben) of Chickamauga, GA and Rev. Chris O'Neal (Kathy) of Chickamauga, GA; his brother Rev. Paul O'Neal (Rebecca) of LaFayette, GA; his grandchildren, Stacey Adams, Corey Ellison (Audrey), Ashley Tucker (Kevin), Justin, Cayden and Lilly O'Neal; his great grandchildren, Waylan Taylor, Cassie Lapworth, Jack Ellison, Sam Ellison, Abigail Cardwell, Kamden Tucker and Andrew Lance Tucker; and his great great grandchild Ansleigh Kendrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
