He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Botts and Mary Frances Burrows Botts; and his siblings, Randall Eugene Botts and Carol Dianne Botts. He is survived by: his siblings, Charlene Botts Jett, Danny Leigh Botts Sr. and Nancy Gail Robinson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - Chickamauga Chapel (215 Lee Ave, Chickamauga, GA 30707). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
