He was predeceased by: his father Charles J. Ekvall; his son Caden James; and his grandparents, Charles, Frances Addison, Leslie and Lula Ekvall.
He is survived by: his mother Lila Addison Ekvall; his wife LeAnn; his children, Madelyn (Wolfgang) and Sam; his sister Noelle Snodgrass (Gordon); his stepmother Teri Ekvall; and his stepsister Cher Smith (David). He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in- law, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
