Dennis Eugene Christian Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Eugene Christian of Chickamauga, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2026 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Christian and Flora Belle Seay Christian; and his siblings, Paul "Butch" Christian, Barbara "Sis" Strebe, James "Jim" Christian, Tom Christian, Phyllis "Phyl" Hicks, David "Dave" Christian and Richard "George" Hall.

He is survived by: his son Joshua Christian; and his siblings, Sharon Freeman, Judy Wilson, Gail Schneider, Harold Christian and Joe Christian.

From November 1977 to February 1979, Spec 4 Christian's performance of duty there was in keeping the the finest traditions of military service , and Dennis was commended for meritorious service as a member of the Recon Platoon, and he demonstrated notable contribution to the combat readiness of A Troop, 4th Squadron, 9th Cavalry.
