She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Hale; her sons, Jerome Avakian, Donald Hale, Jr. and Ronald Hale; her parents, Lefty Smith and Grace Smith; and her great great grandchild Harper Mae Grace Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Shelby (Marty); her stepchildren, Denise Hale and Charles Hale; her sisters, Patsy Hickey and Barbara Massey; and her grandchildren, Kila (Clay), Aaron, John, Jason and Michael. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
