He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harper and Mable Harper. He is survived by: his daughters, Kari Ann Grier of Ringgold, Georgia and Neena Fay Livingstone of Ringgold, Georgia; his grandchildren, Lennon Grier and Hannah Knight; his sister Victoria Green (Larry Green); his niece Barbie Elliott; his nephews, Chad Green, Chris Cox and Lamar Cox; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittani Farmer, Tory Elliott, Josh Green and Cody Cox. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Harper's family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to local charities for children.
