He is survived by: his wife Tina Kirby Lanier; his children, Catessa Vines (Jason) of Chickamauga, Casey Newsome (Justin) of Chattanooga and Kacey House (Lee) of Sitka, AK; his sister Gladys Newman of Statesboro, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Caleb Mangrum, Trinity Holland, Kairi Newsome and Jameson Newsome. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
