He is survived by: his children, Ginger Barcomb (Allen), Jeris McWhorter and David Bowling; his sister Amileen "Bolly" Brooks; his grandchildren, Savannah Barcomb and Noah Barcomb; his great grandchild Samuel; his nephew William "Beaver" Merritt; and his sister-in-law Judy Merritt Roddy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
