He was predeceased by: his son L. Brent McBride; his mother Willie Victoria Dedon; and his brother Charles Dedon. He is survived by: his wife Golda Blount McBride of Chickamauga, Georgia; his son Lindsey Todd; his daughters-in-law, Lisa McBride of Ringgold, Georgia and Sandra McBride of Germantown, Tennessee; his sister Rita; and his brother-in-law Alton Kimble of Springfield, Louisiana. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
