He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dunn and Claudine Dunn; and his granddaughter Hannah Sue Bruning. He is survived by: his wife Sue Anne Dunn; his daughters, Nita Bruning (Walter) and Dottie Ray (Greg); his grandchildren, Jody Bruning (Lauren), John Davis and Rachel Woodburn (Mike); his sister Helen Dunn; his niece Melanie Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Hudson, Hayden Bruning and Anna Woodburn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church (90 Nick A Jack Ln, Flintstone, GA 30725).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hannah Bruning Memorial Scholarship Foundation in care of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church.
