She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Vaughn and Robert Claude Vaughn; and her siblings, David, R. C., Lucille and Velma.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Ellis (Eve), Jeffrey Ellis (Lisa) and Judy "Sissy" Jackson; her grandchildren, Brandon Ellis, Jennifer Roden (Arthur), Jordan Ellis (Dana), Laura Ellis, Austin Ellis (Tabitha), Chaney Grace Ellis (Tyree Jones) and Kassi Ellis (Josiah Sadek); and her siblings, Marion Smith, Shirlene Bottke (Rudy) and Richard Vaughn (Angela). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
