Katherine Dodd Hanna Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Dodd Hanna (Chickamauga, Georgia), born in Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Howard Byrd II and Rachel Muriel Dye Byrd; her husband James K. Dodd; her daughter Becky (Joseph Murr); her grandchildren, Kenneth Dodd (Linda) and Lisa Schmidt (James); her son Rex Rayborn Rogers; and her son-in-law Joseph Murr.
During the Pandemic, Katherine recorded and shared a piece of music almost daily on several Facebook sites to spread a bit of cheer.
