With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard Franklin Bean Jr. of Chickamauga, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Leonard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leonard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Franklin Bean, Sr. and Katherine Bean; and his wife Janet Bean. He is survived by: his children, Steve Bean (Glenda) and Sandy Bean; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda and Gary. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
