With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luther J. Ledford of Chickamauga, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luther J. Ledford to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny L. Ledford and Ruby Taylor Ledford; and his siblings, Glazier, Raymond, Leonard, Leon, Geraldine and Judy.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ledford; his daughters, Karen Underhill (Barry) and Joy Smith (Mike); his grandchildren, Zach Underhill (Sara), Andrya Hudgens (Charlie) and Zane Smith (Haylee); his great grandchildren, Liam, Eli, Kylo, Wyatt, David and Everly; and his siblings, Lonnie Ledford and Marie Mayes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Orange Grove Center, where his daughter Joy has been employed for 40 years.
