We announce the death of Martha Chambers of Chickamauga, Georgia, who passed away on August 30, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Cannon, Sr. and Ethel McKeller Cannon; her husband Billy "Bill" Chambers; and her siblings, Tina Davis, Mary Sutton and Gaston Cannon, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Camay Chambers (Tommy Wiley); and her nieces, Jennifer Garrett (Scott), Kelsey (Jonathan), Stevie Holsopple, Alyssa Young (Dillon Hixson) and Jessica Young. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home (121 W Villanow St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Garmany Cemetery.
