She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Leon Morton, Sr.; her parents, Charlcie Kelley and Elferd Kelley; her brother James D. Kelley; and her granddaughter Tabitha Morton.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon L. Morton, Jr., Victor L. Morton, Michelle Cruise and Christy L. Morton; and her siblings, George Kelley (Geneva) and Irene Barrett. She is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
