She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph L. Kirby, Sr. and Iris Claiborne Kirby; her husband Lamar Catlett; and her siblings, Ralph Kirby, Jr., Warren Kirby, Marilyn Murray and Patricia Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Harvey (Bret) of Ooltewah, TN, Sally Reid (Anthony) of Florence, AL, Steven Harriss of Chickamauga, GA, Roger Dale Harriss of Chickamauga, GA and Tony Harriss (Angell) of LaFayette, GA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - Chickamauga Chapel (215 Lee Ave, Chickamauga, GA 30707). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Elizabeth Lee Methodist Church at 139 Cove Road – Chickamauga, Georgia 30707 or at elmc.church.
