He was predeceased by : his parents, Missionary Knechtel and Dorothy Rasmussen Knechtel. He is survived by : his wife Linda Cooper Knechtel; his sons, Ken Johnson (Anna), Edward Knechtel and Ryan Knechtel (Morgan); his brother Carleton Knechtel; and his brother-in-law Gary Cooper (Betty). He is also survived by five Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews.
