She was predeceased by: her husband Emmett Leroy Pitts; her parents, Charles Henry Young and Mary Elma Tinker Young; her sister Mary Catherine Young; and her son-in-law Mark Churchwell.
She is survived by: her daughter Cyndi; her sister Betty Joyce Andrews; her daughters, Donna Pitts Churchwell (Mark), Sherri Kay Atkins (David), Cynthia Dawn Pitts Mathis (David) and Marilyn Elaine Pitts Jones (Tim); her grandchildren, Colt Churchwell (Becca), Julianna Churchwell, Kellie Pierce (Brent), Zebulen Mathis (Christa), Jebediah Mathis (Margo), Andrew Jones, Robert Jones and Caroline Jones; and her great grandchildren, Carson Pierce, Bryson Pierce, Hattie Mathis and Ellis Mathis.
