He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilson (Bob) and Dot Lanier Steele Wilson; his wife Marlene Culver Steele; his brother Gary Steele; and his brother-in-law Dwight Sparks.
He is survived by: his children, Lance Steele (Mandy) of Ringgold, GA, Shanna Rogers (Shawn) of Chickamauga, GA and Lacey Goodson (Jeff) of Chickamauga, GA; his sister Teresa Hughey (Dale) of Ringgold, GA; his stepfather Don Wilson of Ringgold, GA; his sister-in-law Billie Sparks of Chickamauga, GA; and his grandchildren, Denver, Emoree Rogers, Hampton Goodson, Layne and Ruby Steele. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
