He is survived by: his children, Kelle Smith and Matthew Smith; his granddaughter Jessica Smith; his great grandchildren, Linley and Bella; and his siblings, Myra Kay Randles (Raymond) and Johnny Smith (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
