Ruby Lee Akins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Lee Akins of Chickamauga, Georgia, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Aaron J. Akins; her sons, Terry Akins and James "Jimmy" Akins; her parents, Robert Morris and Addie Morris; and her siblings, Robert, Archie, Paul Morris and Louise Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Sitton (James), Dan J. Akins (Martha), Peggy Eades (Chip) and Tony Akins (Renee); her grandchildren, Kelly Akins (Vanessa), Tina Henslee, Jay Akins (Abby), Danette Coski (Brian), Sam McAllister (Amber) and Matthew McAllister (Heather); and her sister Mary Ruth Townsend. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
