He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Austin P. Hatfield, Vina Hatfield and Henry J. L. Masiongale; his stepfather Chuck O'Gorman; his uncles, Daniel and David Hatfield; and his siblings, Samantha and Tyler Hatfield.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Rhonda Cowan Hatfield; his children, Wesley Hatfield (Jessica Clayton) of California and Amanda Hatfield of Mt Juliet; his father Sam Hatfield; his stepmother Tammy Hatfield of Estill Springs; his mother Judy O'Gorman of Byrdstown; his grandmother Allene Masiongale of Byrdstown; his sister Angela Thompson (John Thompson) of Murfreesboro; his niece Shelby Compton of Portland; his aunts and uncles, Delois Bratton (Bob), Mary, Judy Hatfield, Brent (Leanne) and Bryan Hale (Abbe); and his cousins, Mark, Ginger, Danny, Shelley, Charlotte, Laura and Ed.
The Hatfields request donations be made in Wade's honor in place of flowers.
