He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Lavinia (DeZoort); and his sisters, Sadie Havele and Dr. Edith DeZoort, MD. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nell Kidd DeZoort of Chickamauga, GA; his children, William Sean DeZoort (Rhonda) of Forsythe, GA, Ashley Moore (Wesley) of Rock Spring, GA and David Layton DeZoort (Amanda) of Bakersville, N. C.; his granddaughters, Macey, Chloe, Emmie, Abbie and Sophie; and his great grandchild William Roper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
