Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Bill for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Irving Canup and Lois Eller Canup; and his daughter Gina Oleta Canup. He is survived by: his wife Oleta Canup; and his children, Lisa Oleta Shurtleff (Patrick) and Billy Hank Canup (Deeann). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; three sisters, and three brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
