He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Stanhope Elwood of Clarkesville; his children, Nathan Elwood of Highgate, Coleen Rotunno of Gainesville, Donna Stanley of Simsbury and Katherine Stanhope of Suwanee; and his sister Cathy Elwood of North Carolina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
